Tumour suppressor microRNAs contribute to drug resistance in malignant pleural mesothelioma by targeting anti-apoptotic pathways

Levels of mature miRNAs were measured in MPM drug resistant cell lines and related to levels in the parental MSTO cell line using RT-qPCR. miR-15a, miR-16 and miR-34a levels were reduced in MSTO-CisR, MSTO-GemR and MSTO-VinoR compared to MSTO-Par. Expression was normalised to RNU6B and is the mean from 3 independent experiments ± SD. *P ≤ 0.05, **P ≤ 0.01
