Reduction of mitomycin C resistance in human bladder cancer T24 cells by knocking-down ras oncogene

Figure 5. Western blotting of ras protein expression in T24 cells. (A) ras protein expression 24 h after treatment with 1, 3, 10, 30, or 100 μg/mL MMC; (B) ras protein expression 72 h after treatment with 0.1, 0.3, 1, 3, 10, 30, or 100 μg/mL MMC. There was a progressive decrease of the blot thickness and intensity with increasing doses of MMC; (C) the level of ras following 50 nmol/L ras siRNA was low compared with untreated cells, or with other controls; (D) ras protein changes 72 h after low doses of MMC combined with 50 nmol/L of ras siRNA. All bands appeared between 18 and 28 kDa at the standard ras molecular weight of 21 kDa when compared with the molecular weight marker. MMC: mitomycin C
